Erika Meyerson Smith and Mike Smith graduated from UNC Greensboro in 1994. They dated throughout college, almost got married, but, broke up the last semester of senior year. During college the two discussed creating a school in which their love of music and dance could be intertwined. 15 years later, Erika and Mike reconnected. They are now married with six kids and their concept for a school has become a reality with Lake Norman Performing Arts.
Lake Norman Performing Arts is a comprehensive dance, music school and professional recording studio that teaches great technique and encourages individual artistic creativity. We invite you to come and take a look at our facility, which features 2 beautiful dance rooms with Harlequin flooring, 5 music instruction rooms, and a full state of the art recording studio. In addition all of our instruction rooms can be viewed from our waiting area with cameras located in all of the dance and music rooms. Parents are able to observe their children while waiting. We are excited about offering cutting edge dance and music instruction to the Lake Norman area.
